Who we are
Tasdeaf is a non-profit charity organisation that gratefully accepts financial support from individuals and businesses in the community.
1 in 6 people in Australia live with a form of hearing loss and this is expected to rise to 1 in 4 by 2030.
Hearing loss is invisible, so the needs of deaf people are often overlooked or misunderstood. Hearing loss can have a significant impact on a person's quality of life, and it can also lead to educational, social and vocational disadvantage.
Tasdeaf works towards minimising the impacts of hearing loss on individuals and families across Tasmania to ensure that all people with a hearing loss can take part in community life and can achieve their goals.
Donations are gratefully accepted to support our organisation and the work we do in enhancing the quality of life for deaf and hard of hearing people in the community.
Donations of $2.00 and over are tax deductible. If you wish to make a donation online using a credit card, please contact email@example.com . If you would like to make a donation using cheque, money order or electronic funds transfer, please complete the form below. A receipt will be sent to you.

Enhancing the lives of deaf and hard of hearing Tasmanians
Hearing loss is invisible, so the needs of Deaf people are often overlooked and misunderstood. Hearing loss can create barriers to communication in many areas. This can lead to educational, social, and vocational disadvantage.
The Tasmanian Deaf Society works towards breaking down those barriers while promoting a positive image of deafness.
You can support the important work that we do.
Donations and bequests are gratefully accepted to support our organisation. For further information, please contact the Tasdeaf by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
